The stone which the builders rejected as worthless turned out to be the most important of all.
Mark 12: 10
God has been sending somebody to us – a friend, a family member, an acquaintance, a complete stranger – inviting us to know, serve, and love Him better. Have we happily accepted it? Or rejected it because our priorities are not in line with this invitation?
God sent his only Son, Jesus, for us. Did we welcome Jesus in our lives, or did we close our doors and turn our backs on him?
When we commit sin, we may not realize that we are killing Jesus in our hearts. When we disobey God’s will, we are sending Jesus to the cross again.
Almighty Father, forgive me for the times I refused your invitation. Forgive my hard heart for not welcoming Jesus in my life. This world is your vineyard, you own it. And anytime, you can take this back from us. But there is one thing that you will never stop giving us – your love. And may I never depart from this love as long as I live in this world. Amen.
