God is with Us

But to those who did accept him
he gave power to become children of God.

John 1 : 1-18

December 25, 2011 Bible Reading and Gospel

God desires to share his godliness to us, He wants us to be part of His holiness eversince the world began.

Jesus is the Word of God that became flesh and dwelt among us. This is the ultimate expression of God’s love for us. His most intimate encounter with His human creation. Christmas is the time for us to reflect on God’s invitation of receiving Jesus in our hearts as the Way, the Truth and the Light.

‘Emmanuel’ means God is with us. In our family, our work, our community… we must always be sensitive to the presence of God. God’s love is not meant to be experienced alone – it must be shared to others because Jesus wants us to be the bearer of the good news of salvation. If others can see in us the love of God radiating, we will like small beacons of light helping them to discover what we have discovered – the joy and glory of being children of God.
